For the last 10 years Ticoon has worked exclusively in the financial services industry delivering technology solutions to support the vision of many of the worlds leading financial institutions. Ticoon’s experience working with banks, insurance companies, brokerage firms, mutual fund dealers, investment managers and employers give it the breath of experience to help most companies deliver on their wealth management strategy.
1996 - 1997
In 1996 Rick Hyde founded LifePlan Financial to support fortune financial companies to communicate to their employees via the internet. LifePlan integrated life goal planning and budgeting tools with employee benefits information helping employees realize the value of their plan and the impact on their life goals.
1997 – 2000
Working in an exclusive partnership with a Canadian chartered bank Ticoon integrated its life goal planning tools with the banks internet banking system to create one of the first end-to–end electronic marketplaces to automate the movement of financial products and services from manufacturing directly through to investors.
2000 – 2003
Armed with the technology developed at the bank Ticoon worked with two of Canada’s largest independent financial dealers to enhance the platform to meet the changing needs of the financial services marketplace. In 2003 Ticoon launched the first cross-platform data consolidator in the marketplace.
2003 – 2005
Ticoon’s customer base grows extensively positioning Ticoon as the leading provider of front-office wealth management solutions in the Canadian marketplace.
Ticoon’s solutions are deployed at leading brokerage, mutual fund and insurance companies as well as a top Canadian bank.
2006
Ticoon’s solution suite expands from Enterprise Wealth Management and Account Management to include Family Office and Product Management.
Ticoon enhances it’s management team adding a Chief Operating Officer, V.P. Sales, CFO and V.P. Marketing. Several senior industry executives join the Ticoon team at the management and board levels.
Ticoon secures partnerships with leading software firms to expand into the U.S. and Europe.
